“Unlitter” your environments and track the impact you’ve made with the Stridy app. Not only are you able to see the difference you’ve made as an individual, the app connects you to Striders all around the globe, so you can see how we’re progressing together as a community. Here are some key features:


1. Unlittering made fun with an intuitive log system
Start and end your Strides with a simple tap. Logging your finds can be done in seconds with our user-friendly interface, beginning with recording your finds via a pre-loaded suite of common litter categories, to snapping photographs of wacky litter you’ve come across!

2. Track (y)our impact
Every logged Stride goes into a global database that keeps track of the community’s unlittering efforts. Track how much you’ve done for the environment with details such as number and type of pick-ups, distances covered, time spent Striding, Stride routes, and even photos of litter collected! These details are shown at both a local and global scakle, so you can stay motivated by seeing what the rest of the community is doing. You’ll never feel alone with Stridy!

3. Enjoy some friendly competition
Create, join, or invite others to Teams, where you can compete with others around the world to see which Team can rack up more Stridy points. The best part about Teams? It’s not limited by geography, so you can Stride with people from other countries as part of the same Team!

4. Paying it forward by Striding
Wondering what you can do with those Stridy points? Redeem those hard-earned Stridy points in the Redeem page, and dedicate those points towards supporting conservation and sustainability projects around the world. Stridy is a non-profit organisation that hopes to create a groundswell of people, all across the world, engaged with the issue of waste management. We are strictly ad-free, and will never utilize user data for financial gain. Stridy is fully funded by private donations, and proceeds from the Stridy Shop.

Version 1.5.3
This update brings about performance improvements to geolocation and mapping during strides.

For a long time now, we have struggled with proper distance tracking and accuracy in routes when using the Stridy app, especially when your phone is locked. After this update, you should experience lesser of these issues and see an improvement to the accuracy of routes logged during your Stride.

This is not a complete fix, we are expecting further fine tuning in the months to come. Thank you for your patience and for striding to keep our environments clean!
